Linda Ries
ONCOLOGY PHYSICIAN

I was born and raised in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. I completed my undergraduate studies at the College of the Holy Cross in Pre-med/English then proceeded to spend 2 years doing laboratory research at the Harvard School of Public Health. I received my medical degree from the University of Vermont then returned to Rhode Island to pursue my residency in Internal
Medicine and fellowship in Hematology and Oncology through Brown University. I met my husband, Justin, a Family Practice physician and native Montanan, while exploring the medical community in Seattle at the University of Washington while we were in our final year of medical school. We moved to Missoula in 2005 upon completion of my fellowship and have been part of the Missoula medical community since that time. In my time outside of the office, I can be found on the sidelines of soccer fields, hiking with my black Labrador and enjoying the outdoor activities Montana has to offer with my family.
